Plotting: I'm pretty open to AU relationships, even if they're minor. Hector's part of the older cohort in this cast so it's perfectly reasonable to think he has met one or two people thus far, or if someone has seen or heard of him. Here's a quick rundown:

Hector's from a rich family in NYC, probably went to NYU and majored in biology or something idk i realize i didn't think v hard about that. His family was in the news briefly around 13 years prior when his sister was the subject of a nationwide missing persons case. Unsovled, of course, for the true crime podcast listeners.

He was in the military for about five-ish years a little after that, but was discharged seven years ago for Reasons. He's been working as a park ranger for about six years now at {{big national park I haven't picked yet}}. Seto and I are thinking somewhere in Cali, maybe.....? They lived in one town most of their life and then suddenly just bailed out within the last couple years under some Apparent Drama, so knowing him before or after can be possible! Does some low quality "how to exercise (muscle groups)" videos on whatever video streaming is out there, mostly for himself to check his progress but he has a tiny following. He tends to prefer sports and weightlifting over video games, but he tags along to help his older brother Levi a lot for virtual reality games in exchange for favors... and then he found out funny glam exists and now he loves that. Very monotone and seemingly nonplussed and perhaps even intimidating due to his size, but he has simple wants and needs, is very easy to get along with and has a soft spot (or perhaps more of a weakness) for snacks.

Levi Blake, better known for his online moniker L3V147H4N in reference to the famous sea creature, is a huge shut-in IRL with a lot of self-esteem issues. He tends to be gloomy and awkward when forced into most social situations, but he really comes out of his shell when he's in his element. What is his element? Anything otaku or game-related! He's a massive nerd for these things and has no filter for geeking out about them- he'll talk your ear off about incomprehensibly niche hobby things if you don't stop him.

He loves chatting about his interests online and he tends to be very hardcore about anything he does because he has nothing but time on his hands. Maybe you've seen him on forums or social media? He's been trying to grow his streaming channel to go full-time someday!

Dosei is 18, freshly graduated, and lives with his 3 elder (adopted, just like him) siblings in a swanky house in the Upper East Side of New York. His adopted father is a big time company owner which specializes in designer clothing, who kind of really only took in a bunch of kids for the good publicity, and is not exactly a model sort of parent. He has high expectations, and while all 3 of the others have specialized jobs and considerably talents, Dosei has none of those. He's constantly considered the black sheep of his family, which is why he's so bitchy and antisocial. He prefers the goth aesthetic and if he's not holed up in his room playing video games, he's out skateboarding or being anywhere that isn't home. The crowd he hangs out with is...questionable, so you may have seen him here and there. He tends to wander far from his fancy neighborhood. Alternatively, you could know him online, where he tends to be a menace on purpose. Also, his last name is kind of recognizable since it's connected to his dad's company, so he rarely ever uses it.

In terms of the event, he'll be flitting round and touching things here and there, definitely hanging out at the banquet in a corner eyeballing everyone else. He notably doesn't talk, and mainly uses the text to speech voice synthesizer to speak in a variety of voices. Usually, what he has to say isn't very nice. After spending most of his early adulthood in a pseudo-hobo state, he managed to secure a gig writing video game guides for people who want to put in less effort but still succeed! His avatar name is Faunus, which is also the pseudonym he writes under, so if people are tuned into the gaming sphere, they might know of his online presence.

He's an earth attuned wavemaster in The World, and will mostly sit back and let all of the physical people get in dangerous positions while he lazily blasts spells from afar. He's incredibly laid back, so he'll rarely cause friction in a party unless they're super hardcore about things, and since folks in The World don't have to deal with his physical ickiness (hot tip: this loser doesn't bathe often and barely gets outside), I don't think it'll be terribly hard for him to make friends.

During the event, Leo will absolutely be getting completely blasted while stuffing his face. Feel free to poke him to do dungeons or whatever! Once he's had his fill ~~(more than half of the table)~~, he'd be willing to tag along.

Plotting: His AU is pretty set but if anyone wants existing CR (mostly of the online variety) my arms are open! Michel is a 27yo recluse currently living in Strasbourg, France. His avatar looks very much like his IRL self, so anyone from the area can have happened across this suspiciously vampiric man who only appears at night, if they want.

He'll be using a different handle in Fragment, but he also runs a very small forum where he posts weird little games he makes in his downtime. They're bizarre, unintuitive, and maybe give off tryhard goth vibes... but they're free? Featuring, so far: a point-and-click mystery adventure with multiple endings that almost all result in the player character dying, a gothic sidescroller with inexplicable rhythm game elements, and a pet raising simulator (no, he will not be taking questions at this time). Michel has zero art or music ability, so if a character with an online presence in one of those wants to have collabed with him or been commissioned by him, HMU! :nyaa: Also open to anyone having spoken to him on the forum, although he won't be owning up to that handle anytime soon.

Michel is very socially awkward and aloof but will be making some efforts (citation needed) in Fragment. He's blunt, grumpy, and sharp-tongued but unexpectedly a team player with a lot of game experience. Any n00bs or people looking for parties will be accepted unless they really tick him off (this is a challenge). Looking for: genuinely nice characters to make him jumpy, novice gamers, trolls bc he's incredibly reactive with this cursed headset, younger characters because he's notably softer with kids, literally everything!
