AU PLOTTING.

If you've yet to solidify your character's AU or want to plot with others, please take the opportunity to do so before the game launches on July 29th. Plotting: I'm currently not looking for any new close AU relationships, but if your character has worked at a hospital, reads up on gossip tabloids, or partakes in bowling, they could have heard of him. Just let me know so that I can provide you with relevant information.

Anyway, Oria Severine is an 18-year-old guy who just graduated high school and is looking forward to what the college life will be in person in the spring. The game is a welcome break between that. Surely, nothing will go wrong. :) He can also be pretty obnoxious, flirty, annoying, and loud, but serious if it has to come down to it. He's just here to have some fun. Please have a look at Oria's permissions here for potential topics that may come up or if you'd prefer not to interact with him (or me) in general. No hard feelings!

He's also a Thunder-based Steam Gunner.

During the event, he'll probably get adjusted to being in the game and chatting with other people. He's a social butterfly. Probably. Maybe. Nothing plotty in particular is planned, since I like to go with the flow as it happens.

Plotting: i'm pretty much set on Yael's AU! he's an army dude currently out of work due to a leg injury, hence why he's sitting around online playing video games. he lives in the bay area (cali), so feel free to assume your character's bumped into him irl if they're in the area. he looks just like his avatar sans eyepatch, he's hard to miss.

i'm seeking people who will pull his grumpy ass along to dungeons. i'm also determined to make a 25+ guild happen, so throw all your old folks at me.

as for his AU, fai is earning his phd in physical chemistry at a university in california! he looks extremely similar to his avatar, so feel free to have seen him around the bay area, especially during his time as a barista. fai also does tutoring for math and science at both a high school and university level, so if your character would ever sign up for that, i'd be happy to work with some pre-established cr! he'll do online and in person tutoring.

Owen, 29(?)-year-old originally from Manchester, England. Moved to New York City in his early 20s, then moved to the west coast a few years later. Currently employed in a bar in San Francisco and inexplicably knows a lot of friends in high places in various industries - and also potentially low places, considering his past which totally absolutely definitely is not sketchy and full of crime. Also runs an account on Legally Distinct OnlyFans, under the name Kiz. It’s not really easy to connect that to his other online activities, not just because he cycles through different usernames like it’s a habit, but also because he conducts himself entirely differently. He does have social media accounts to promote his hustle, so if people want to know Owen as Owen, or Owen RPing A Nice Person For $$$, or both, just let me know!! We can hash it out.

His normal behavior online is to just be incredibly bitchy and critical - he’s probably well-known in music circles for having very brutally honest critiques, but he’s just constructive enough in them to be helpful.

He also has three dogs that he takes pictures of and posts constantly - a borzoi named Echidna, a red golden retriever named Typhon, and a Yorkshire terrier named Cerberus. If anyone wants dog walking meet-cutes IRL please, it would be so funny.

Vieno, 19-year-old college student. Moved as far as possible from their hometown in hopes of a new start, after Things Went Down with their high school friend group they no longer associate with. Very withdrawn and quiet, even online - just the kind of player who shows up and does their part in the dungeon, but doesn’t say anything. They’re not anti-social or anything, they just don’t want attention!! I’m not as settled on anything with them because they have spent so much time just. Do Not Perceive Them. They’re a kid who ran with a bad crowd and got fucked over and doesn’t want to attract trouble anymore, but they’ll be much more of a team player once the game starts if anyone needs a cleric to tag along!

Her AU is that she's a 23 year old finance student in California, works at AU build a bear part time, and plays games on the side. She loves fashion and parties every other week or so. As for event stuff, she'll mingle and engage in nerf gun fights. 😂 And she'll actively be looking for allies and ppl to party up with!

Plotting: I'm pretty open to AU relationships, even if they're minor. Hector's part of the older cohort in this cast so it's perfectly reasonable to think he has met one or two people thus far, or if someone has seen or heard of him. Here's a quick rundown:

Hector's from a rich family in NYC, probably went to NYU and majored in biology or something idk i realize i didn't think v hard about that. His family was in the news briefly around 13 years prior when his sister was the subject of a nationwide missing persons case. Unsovled, of course, for the true crime podcast listeners.

He was in the military for about five-ish years a little after that, but was discharged seven years ago for Reasons. He's been working as a park ranger for about six years now at {{big national park I haven't picked yet}}. And I wasn't joking when I mentioned the educational thirst trap Insta or whatever--he definitely does this. Learn about nature facts from this well trained and well educated man while you look at his tits. Important.

Hector is not his real AU name. It's just his character name. I know. I'm making this complicated.

IN GAME, he's one of the three??? harvest clerics, so you bet he's whoring himself and his services out. He's hopping on the dick train of every party needing an extra person he can find. Weaseling his way in h. watch out.

ALSO! Hector's birthday (like, the real actual legit day I made him in GW2) is on August 5, a week after game opening. I'm gonna hold a thing for that. Party games? Drinking games? Let's get weird.

Plotting: The only AU relationships I'd feel comfortable cultivating before the game starts are parasocial ones as she'll have the majority of her personal irl information, including what she looks like, on lockdown.

Uta's AU revolves around her being a variety streamer that created an avatar to represent her (looks at everyone who called her a vtuber on the first impression meme then looks away) and uploads songs/mvs to a copyright friendly version of youtube where anyone is more than welcomed to recognize her! whether it's just by her name, reputation, music, etc. pls tell her that you're a fan of her's so she can dote on you :') she also lives in denmark because...reasons.

as far as the event goes, uta is here to meet everyone and befriend everyone. she also is down to dungeon crawl because the true endgame of any game is how nice you look right??? opens my arms and welcomes everyone to come at me.
