AU PLOTTING.
If you've yet to solidify your character's AU or want to plot with others, please take the opportunity to do so before the game launches on July 29th. If you have any questions or comments, grab a mod! We're here to help. Additionally, please ensure you've familiarized yourself with the premise before sticking out feelers for any additional planning.
EVENT PLOTTING.
Events go live on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. You may preview tomorrow's event here. Going forward, all events and plotting will go up on the same day.

Matoba's in-game name will be 0koto! It's "Makoto" in goroawase, he will roll his eyes if you pronounce it Okoto. He has yakuza-adjacent stuff going on in his AU out-of-game backstory and also causes problems On Purpose, so here's some hooks for plotting:
• Matoba has probably been around some other MMO's under the same name or variations thereof, so feel free to recognize him/his reputation for being a dick. If you're a civilian, there are rumors from previous MMO gossip that he seems involved in some shady stuff offline but no real solid details.
• On the other hand, if anyone else has a backstory niche involving Japanese underworld/crime background (or hey, how about local detectives/cops!) I'm up to plot some longterm background drama around that!
• I saw some brief guild plotting on the interest check but where da scumbags guild at...
• Matoba is extremely bigoted towards non-humans in his canon and this may manifest as some xenophobia here and there in-game, feel free to hit my opt-out if you either would like me to keep that out of our threads or opt out of him altogether!
• EDIT OH RIGHT He's a Water-element Shadow Warlock!! He's here to do damage and debuff people for fun idk
Anything else? QUICK Q FOR MODS I swear I saw this discussed somewhere before but I couldn't find it again... What options are available for characters that want to troll as far as using alts or I guess glamors/display name changes for... mischief 👉👈

to answer your q: beta testers only have access to one account and one character, and while their avatar's name in fragment can't be changed, they can change their display name on the forums as often as they like.
