AN OFFER.

As you wake, a boy appears before you. He offers you a true path to happiness.

Will you go down that path?

Once easily reachable, Zelkova is now nowhere to be found, if you don't count the random scraps of bloodied clothes or a single horn found in Mac Anu.

All messages will be returned with one phrase: "Hi! I'm Zelkova!"

You might feel anger or unease, but whatever it is you feel... you know that you feel it strongly. So much so, in fact, that you find your emotions hard to control.

Hopefully you find a way to manage these emotions and ride them out.

NPCs across various Root Towns talk of the sky ripping open or an unusual figure amongst the waves at the Twilight Shoreline. Will you investigate?

With one last important memory being ripped away from you, it becomes more and more difficult to remember you who really are. You certainly feel like you belong in this world, as if you have always been here.

However... something tugs at the back of your mind. Why do you want to leave so badly?

SIGNS OF TROUBLE.

As you adjust to your new way of life, you start to notice that healing isn't quite as effective as it used to be. Broken bones and internal injuries no longer heal the way that they have been, and consumables are harder to come by. Hopefully you have a stockpile somewhere.

Either way, this is a sign that you need to be more careful from here on out. Who knows what could happen?

The things that have shaped you have always remained at the forefront of your mind and your heart. Yet, you feel that one of those memories is slipping away.

Characters will lose a single memory that is listed on their application. What piece of themselves will they lose?

What were once guaranteed safe havens are now a memory of the past, as monsters have invaded the Root Towns and PvE/PvP have been enabled with their sudden appearance. Some hard work can take care of these monsters, but some of them boast impenetrable shields.

Hopefully a few of you know exactly what needs to be done to defeat them.

A voice visits you while you try to sleep. Do you pay it no mind, or do you listen to it?

A NEW ROOT TOWN.

A new, mysterious Root Town is now available to everyone! The only problem is that no one knows the name of this town, and the bridges that help you navigate the area appear to be a little... dangerous. Put on your toolbelts and help make things a little safer! Or don't. That works too.

Have you wanted to gather plants, create potions, or enhance your own armor? Well, you're in luck! The professions system has arrived, and so has a crafts festival along with it! Submit your own recipe ideas by September 1st and you'll have a chance at it becoming an official recipe everyone can make!

Be careful when you log in, because you might just swap avatars with someone else. Either accept your fate and get used to your new look or coordinate logging out together.

The wind is also too strong in the new Root Town. Maybe a little too strong. Try not to get knocked over, and also try to ignore the whispers of those from your past that float along on the wind.

For such a big new feature, professions are bound to have a few minor glitches to work out. From a full denim-clad armor set to a crystal ball, some of the items you can create are a little... odd.

Think you can impress the Head Admin with your culinary skills? Then step up to the challenge! For your hard work, you'll get a chef outfit skin, and potentially a cute little Pomchi to follow you around if you really impress him! Oh, but be sure you don't do a terrible job either. Who knows what could happen?

A SPECIAL AREA.

The keywords Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground will take your characters to an Area unlike any they have visited before. Knowing what's happened there already, are they willing to brave it?

Go forth and recruit new guild members! If your character is a guild leader, they've been equipped with a few goodies to help them in their venture. Guild leaders can also open the doors of their @ homes so those who are curious can get a sneak peek of their guild.

The Grunty Ranch has opened! Have you always wanted to raise a possibly cute, possibly terrifying creature from infancy to adulthood? No? Well, now you can anyway!

It's getting a little warm in Mac Anu. Actually... it's getting very warm, to the point that it's almost unbearable. You even feel the effects of the heat long after logging out. At least Lumina Cloth is faring better.

What better way to distract yourself from the concerning heat than a few carnival games? Play a few games, eat some fried food, and interact with your fellow beta testers in various ways to earn new skins! What's there to worry about when you've got a giant new plush to display in your private room?
