Plans: Back from hiatus at last and on the OOC front I am slowly, slowly starting to have time again!! Got mega sick as soon as work started calming down so October was p much a bust. Sorry to everyone I tried to make plans with!!

Matoba has been mostly holed up in his private room in the Telophoroi Tower for the last couple weeks, doing little more than doting over Hien and occasionally going out and destroying monsters together. Sometimes, he can still be found at the cat cafe, still attempting to curry their favor in vain.

He attended Owen's Halloween party (also both of their birthday... party... sort of.) and had some interesting things to say about birthdays. He had an inbox chat with Hani about familial duty. And he finally, finally, read Hien that damn yaoi book. And he's been sending some interesting inbox messages lately.

His memories have slipped away, but he (and Hien both) wrote extensive notes to remind themselves of who they "really are" outside of the game, so he still has some detached idea of who he was and what's going on here, and why he's taken the actions he has.... But slowly, slowly, bits and pieces of even that are being replaced.

In the last few weeks and with the addition of his final lv. 100 set, Matoba's armor has changed slightly; his base kimono set always had a pair of green gem-like pauldrons on the shoulders (think super 90's anime), but now those pauldrons have segmented into a cluster of many gems, like the eyes of an insect, and he's also gained matching hip and shin armor with the same design, reminiscent of samurai armor. This is fine.

Seeking: I'd like Matoba to continue sending messages to those he knows in Fragment, leaving clues and breadcrumbs and very worrying interactions in his wake. Who wants one!!

POST-INNIS FIGHT UPDATE

- Oriade will be stuck in the infirmary throughout the week to recover from "And Then There Were None", courtesy of Innis. But hey, at least he had the courtesy to yeet him into the infirmary. Head nurse probably got super angry at him. Anyway, he'll be there probably partway through the next week too, so that I can have him sit out on the boss fights.
- He originally planned to finish Uta's burial logistics by Tuesday, but since that's not happening while he's bedridden, he will kindly ask either Memoir, Punisher, or Ganymede to take care of it. Don't worry, he's worked out the most of it, so they don't have to do any work.
- Also, for the love of god. This can be handwaved. Just know that it's happening and that Uta's grave will be located on the nameless root town/sky islands.
- Bring him food or games. Or tell him stories. He's so bored in the infirmary.
- Wildcard him in his original toplevel here.

Anyway, the Wanderhalle Library has a lot more random additional books. One of them is Matoba's journal! Some people already have that. If your character wishes to read it, hit me up for a summary link. The little book area in the netslum has a bunch of manga and comics (all starting from volume 1, but not all finished he picked random samples of 3 volumes). The netslum's supply area will have found a box of materials, 20 of everything. A mystery sender. Who could it be.

Plans: Barrett's going to be pretty immobile for most of endgame due to returning from his Phase fight with a very broken leg. But thanks to Oria and Tylor, he has at least crutches to get some movement back, but damn if he ain't in a lot of pain atm.

Barrett also has ALL of his memories back. This includes before Fragment, all memories lost in Fragment, and all his Lily info save for other Wave/Phase information. Come grill him if you would like, he has very little to do and a lot more context to provide.

At least for this week, he is going to be working on profession level up and trying to just recollect himself so that he can hopefully help a little more actively the remainder of the phases. He can't tank very well on crutches so his speed is gonna be trash at baseline, but his new armor has given him a couple ranged abilities + speedboost and he may just let himself be designated item donkey. Watch him zoom on crutches.

IDK I WILL PLAY IT BY EAR whatever way it ends up he is gonna have to rake a more supportive role which is very, very hard for him, but with all the stuff everybody knocked into his brain during the Tarvos fight, he's gonna try hard to take care and just do what he can rather than what he thinks he has to do to be helpful.

Also: if people need the Tarvos boss item for crafting they may want to come talk to him. :)

now cured of his catboy phase, mithrun is back to being weird in the regular way. he's currently hit level and profession cap, which means he'll be running around in a wedding gown (level cap gear) and can craft things you cannot even believe.

he also has a permanent magic DEF down debuff icon next to his name. it's fine.

💌 if you want to talk to him about phase stuff or plot stuff, you can! you can mostly find him around fandom foodies or twilight shoreline when he's not busy doing other stuff. he wants to kill cubia so bad he's so steamed he's so angy he's (aaaaaaaaa)

💌 his legs are kind of weak after spending a week thinking they don't work, so he's been aggressively been pushing himself to use his legs. the week following his boss fight, he mostly used a crude moped and his grunty to get around notable distances; in the following weeks, he'll be able to keep to his feet for longer periods of time. also, he'll always have his service dog with him. you'll probably catch him falling on his face every so often when he pushes his legs past what they're ready for.

💌 he still doesn't know how to take care of himself, and still lacks the desire to do so. he's definitely been making an effort! but remembering to eat and pay attention to his injuries and other basic things are a bit of an effort. his service dog has her work cut out for her.

💌 he's thinking about the future! in his mind they'll all kill cubia and also get back to reality (or die trying, which is moot to worry about because they'd be dead). he's doing a lot of thinking about what he plans to do after this - pursue revenge or not; live a life or not... thinky thoughts.

💌 level cap: wedding gown aside, he has an unrequited love spell and a confusion spell, the first cast via (perhaps familiar) siren song and the latter cast via (perhaps familiar) sweet scent. if you want to experience ptsd or do some other shenanigans idk let me know??

💌 crafting: you can request commissions from him! he's building hector a house, for example. he will probably just ask you to cook for beel as payment, but to get more materials he'd probably also ask you to come with him to farm dungeons for mats or help him gather things! could be fun to thread or handwave. he has a bunch of materials from running dungeons 24/7 the first 2-3 months, but those won't last forever, alas.

also, he can cook you those phase boss recipe meals. it'll be fun. you'll love them, don't worry,

❣️ botanist: at karde's prompting, he'll offer some words to zelkova's tree at the Moon Tree garden, obtaining zelkova's omikuji. you may run into him there.

❣️ miner: you might see him hobbling out of a gate with .2% of his hp and a cool magic 8 ball (key item) in his hand. maybe you wanna heal him or check out his cool toy he apparently almost died for idk

❣️ fisher: mithrun will be gathering 4 other players to help him do the fishing quest!

(: (: (: Anyway, Fandan will happily be sporting his new Zelkova-approved bluebird gear because it makes him feel calm and cozy. As part of it, it seems he's also sporting some small, equally blue feathers coming in around his right eye! Please compliment him on the plumage. Other than that:

- The love and peace Fandaniel isn't 100% gone but now that last event's weirdness is over, he's a little back to normal. The sarcasm has returned, rejoice.
- He will be around Lumina Cloth when he isn't poking around Areas.
- He will not be participating in any phase battles.
- His mobility has improved some more now that he's had time to take it easy and let his ribs heal up a bit but it definitely isn't all better, no, definitely not, but surely that's fine, since everything is fine and going to be okay, right?
- He continues to be a hardcore Lily supporter, sorry, he does not care what mean things were done to Barrett.
- Telophoroi is still acting as a public cookhouse, although he's narrowed down to only serving breakfast again. Supplies are dwindling, alas.

In any case, if there is anything you wanted or hoped to or dreamed of doing with Fandaniel (no murder stares at mithrun... unless???), now's the time to ask! He won't be avoiding people but he does seem more inclined to observe others than take part in any discussion these days.
