A NEW ROOT TOWN.

A new, mysterious Root Town is now available to everyone! The only problem is that no one knows the name of this town, and the bridges that help you navigate the area appear to be a little... dangerous. Put on your toolbelts and help make things a little safer! Or don't. That works too.

PROFESSIONS.

Have you wanted to gather plants, create potions, or enhance your own armor? Well, you're in luck! The professions system has arrived, and so has a crafts festival along with it! Submit your own recipe ideas by September 1st and you'll have a chance at it becoming an official recipe everyone can make!

MORE GLITCHES.

Be careful when you log in, because you might just swap avatars with someone else. Either accept your fate and get used to your new look or coordinate logging out together.

The wind is also too strong in the new Root Town. Maybe a little too strong. Try not to get knocked over, and also try to ignore the whispers of those from your past that float along on the wind.

"HAPPY" ACCIDENTS.

For such a big new feature, professions are bound to have a few minor glitches to work out. From a full denim-clad armor set to a crystal ball, some of the items you can create are a little... odd.

A NEW QUEST APPEARS.

Think you can impress the Head Admin with your culinary skills? Then step up to the challenge! For your hard work, you'll get a chef outfit skin, and potentially a cute little Pomchi to follow you around if you really impress him! Oh, but be sure you don't do a terrible job either. Who knows what could happen?

Small background: Albedo works as a Cosmetic Chemist in order to fund his totally normal research bills. It's fine. He's basically the type of person who keeps to himself with the exception of sometimes watching over a young girl named Klee who is like a sibling to him. Plans: Settling in with a second character! So trying to establish CR, get a bit of a foothold, and whathaveyou smack dab in the midst of a m u r d e r. Totally fine.

Seeking: Hmmm, any kinds of interactions. Perhaps daily things, belated event threads, if people are up to that even if it's just crafting, or maybe helping with bridge things. Albedo has done at least his weekly dungeon run with two others rn, but I am always up for more opportunities for that as well. The sky's the limit.

As for more Gany and Uta threads...hmmm. They didn't talk on the event either just yet, so you can either hit up my top-level for that, or we can come up with an alternative scenario. Maybe just a normal chat whether it's inbox or maybe some worries relating to the present Zelkova-Mithrun situation after they run into each other into a root town??

hmm.... thinks. i am going to do a sweep of top levels tonight or so help me god, but i also like the idea of a normal chat via inbox. thinks. did he see the thing uta said about the sprites and the special gear??

since gandy got his, they could maybe talk about that if he doesn't. :nyanhm: what are your thoughts?

I'M OKAY WITH EITHER or we can do both a top level + inbox. He did look over what she said, particularly just the main response, though he internally was like "well none of mine sound cursed so I'll still use it"...which, LMFAO

Gany/Gandy sure makes some decisions. Anyways, they can still talk about that though because he might still find it interesting NPCs said that because he'd be like ??? how would they know its cursed...weird. I think only someone else got to ask about it at the time so he didn't bother offering the question at the time, but I still think it'd be intriguing for them to discuss.

Maybe he can pop on over to her inbox for additional clarifying questions, or she can go on over to his for whatever reason, and then the subject comes up??
