A NEW ROOT TOWN.

A new, mysterious Root Town is now available to everyone! The only problem is that no one knows the name of this town, and the bridges that help you navigate the area appear to be a little... dangerous. Put on your toolbelts and help make things a little safer! Or don't. That works too.

PROFESSIONS.

Have you wanted to gather plants, create potions, or enhance your own armor? Well, you're in luck! The professions system has arrived, and so has a crafts festival along with it! Submit your own recipe ideas by September 1st and you'll have a chance at it becoming an official recipe everyone can make!

MORE GLITCHES.

Be careful when you log in, because you might just swap avatars with someone else. Either accept your fate and get used to your new look or coordinate logging out together.

The wind is also too strong in the new Root Town. Maybe a little too strong. Try not to get knocked over, and also try to ignore the whispers of those from your past that float along on the wind.

"HAPPY" ACCIDENTS.

For such a big new feature, professions are bound to have a few minor glitches to work out. From a full denim-clad armor set to a crystal ball, some of the items you can create are a little... odd.

A NEW QUEST APPEARS.

Think you can impress the Head Admin with your culinary skills? Then step up to the challenge! For your hard work, you'll get a chef outfit skin, and potentially a cute little Pomchi to follow you around if you really impress him! Oh, but be sure you don't do a terrible job either. Who knows what could happen?

Plans: Hello, surprise, I'm trying out a second! Memoir here is actually 19-year-old Noé Archiviste from The Case Study of Vanitas, and he's a popular travel-based YouTuber, @ MurrAndMemoir! He's at around 300k subscribers now, pls check him out. He was born in France, but he's the kind of guy that doesn't rly stay in one place for too long. Right now, he's in California, simply because I think it's funny. He'll be there for the duration of the beta, most likely!

I think I'm just going to tag out for the time being, as I already have a top level with Kara, so if you'd like a piece of Memoir, pls hit me up! Otherwise I'll be hitting up some top levels. Generally I'll be focusing on getting him settled into the beta. He's not huge into video games so he's going to be kind of lost, and a lot of gamer terminology will be super lost on him, I am sorry LMAO. Not sure how hard on the voices in the wind I'll go just yet but he'll be aware of them by the time the patch notes roll around this week.

Seeking: Fans who might recognize Noé from his YouTube channel! His real name isn't a secret, but he usually calls himself Memoir on there. Fans may have heard of him doing a special collaboration for the Fragment Beta, which is why he's here! He's kind of an easy bullying target LMAO so I'm open to that, though he'll probably fight back in his own innocent way lmao. Friends are always welcome, especially since Noé is a really warm soul.

Offering: If you need a good, supportive friend, Noé is extremely easy to befriend. He'll even tolerate annoying people!! He cannot stand actively malicious people, so there's an opportunity for negative CR there. He's got a childlike innocence to him that a lot of people find really charming, but he has a lot of emotinal maturity...gasp....we need more of that in this game –
