Shoka is probably my frontrunner in terms of likelihood right now! Irl she's an awkward, lonely kid with a rough family situation, and online she's a massive troll who doesn't actively pursue pvp but like, if someone gets fed up with her obnoxiousness, it's not like she's just going to run like a coward from it. She's much more amicable on the forums under a different username and probably uses an alt appearance at times for because. She'd probably end up being a skilled and dedicated player because what else is she going to do with her time, hang out with her nonexistent real life friends???
Yuuki is hospital bound due to... cancer. I will figure out the specifics later but we're changing her illness because SAO can't hurt me anymore with its baffling Choices. She studies remotely but the majority of her time is spent playing Fragment because it helps distract her from feeling overall unwell, plus it's a chance for her to continue socializing with people. Also probably going to end up being a skilled player because When Is She Not Online, Nobody Knows. Probably the type to start a guild, idk the guild deets but it could be a thing. Least likely just because it's been years and I Don't Really Want To Reread SAO But..............
Yoshi aka Nanashi is a shut in because he's a weirdo who does anything asked of him and someone said they didn't want to see him anymore so clearly that means he should simply stop attending class in person, right? Right????? He's terminally online and while he will probably end up pretty high leveled he's also just, like, personality-wise a pushover and easy to convince to part with his gold for someone else's sake. Middling in terms of likeliness.
